Rogaland Bilutleie can offer you insurance cover from Tryg Insurance which makes the trip safer when you rent a car.

We offer two different insurance coverages which lower your costs in case of damage down from £50,000, which is your excess without insurance.

Standard Insurance Cover (CDI and TPI)

A rental car has car insurance, just like a private car. The difference is that the excess on a rental car is significantly higher. In some cases, up to the value of the car. Premium car: £20,000

Super Insurance Cover (SCDI and STPI)

You can also choose to purchase an additional super insurance cover. With this additional insurance, the excess for collision, fire, theft/vandalism, glass damage, and breakdown assistance is further reduced to the following, depending on the car type:

• Car: £3,000
• Premium car: £10,000
• Small van: £3,000
• Large van £10,000

For the insurance to be valid, the general rental terms and conditions must be followed.

Third-party liability insurance (TPL)

Third-party liability insurance is mandatory by law and included in all rental prices.

The liability insurance has no limit on the amount covered per accident for personal injury or death.

Liability insurance covers damage to property up to NOK 100,000,000 per accident.

The liability insurance covers damage to the driver of the rental car, passengers and third parties.

It does not cover the tenant's belongings or damage to trailers attached to the car, such as a caravan or trailer.
